Said Hirsh, Middle East Director _______________________________________
Said is Director of Volterra Middle East. He is an experienced economic modeller and has specific expertise in economic forecasting, stress testing and analysis in several markets.
Said has acted as project manager in a number of complex assignments with major clients in the public and private sectors. He also regularly presents on the economy at clients' events and has recently presented at an international conference in Geneva.
He has recently authored a report for the GLA on London's housing sub-markets and was co-author of a GLA report on comparing locations.
Previously, Said spent four years carrying out research and teaching at the Universities of Bristol and Bath. He mainly taught statistics and quantitative methods for economists. He holds an MSc in Economics and Finance from Bristol University and a first degree in Economics and has previously worked for Tribal plc.
Said has recently been developing Volterra's services in the region. Since then he has been involved in a number of projects involving economic analysis of the GCC countries. He is also a native Arabic speaker and holds the Prince2 Practitioner project management certification.
