Heini Suominen, Consultant __________________________________________
Heini holds a BSc in Economics and Economic History from London School of Economics and Political Science and an MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick. In her studies she focused on international development, completing her postgraduate dissertation on the impact of debt relief on investment in recipient countries.
Heini joined Volterra as a consultant in 2008. Her previous work experience includes roles in Yahoo! and Aspen Re, an insurance and reinsurance company.

Heini has been involved in a wide range of projects at Volterra, including:
- Studying the dynamics of employment and population growth in East England
- Producing a long run employment dataset at various levels of disaggregation for Greater London
- Carrying out economic impact analysis for Crossrail
- Producing a model for forecasting secured provisioning outcomes
- Developing LGD and EAD models for a large UK unsecured portfolio
