Bridget’s research focuses on how to understand the economy in the real world – one which is always changing, never in equilibrium and innovative. This interest has led her into how information is transmitted in market economies to problems of forecasting and how to understand the evolution of cities. Bridget is at present particularly focused on the role of networks in innovation in cities and how to construct simple models of the evolution of city activities. Recent research papers:
