Volterra began operations in the Middle East in early 2008 going into partnership with Joatha Consulting soon after. Joatha Consulting operate from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Led by Said Hirsh, the partnership offers services in the following areas:
- Economic development and planning
- Economic modelling, forecasting, stress testing and scenario generation
- Credit risk
- Network and agent-based modelling
- Economic and financial feasibility
- Other economic and social research
Our Middle East partner Joatha Consulting, a leading Saudi-based business and management consultancy, was founded in the second half of year 2002, in Riyadh by Dr. Ihsan Ali Bu-Hulaiga. Joatha consulting services extends to cover Business Development, Performance Improvement, Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems, and Economic Consulting. The centre is licensed by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Commission of Communications and Information Technology and, enjoys a membership of Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Joatha has worked for a large number of public and private sector clients in Saudi Arabia including the Arriyadh Development Authority, ARAMCO and the Saudi Ministry of Labour. Joatha was responsible for producing the Saudi Employment Strategy which was recently adopted by the Saudi Council of Ministers.
