Bridget Rosewell visited China to present on 'London as a World Services Centre – Factors for Success' at a conference in Shenzhen organised by the Boao Forum for Asia. This is the most prestigious forum for leaders in government, business and academia in Asia and other continents to share visions on the most pressing issues in this dynamic region and the world at large. The Forum is committed to promoting regional economic integration and bringing Asian countries even closer to their development goals and is led by Secretary General Long Yongtu, who negotiated China’s entry into the WTO.
Paul debated Shadow Cabinet member David Willetts at the Royal Society of Arts on 6th December 2007 on the topic ‘Happiness and Economic Policy’.
