Volterra has specialist expertise in the economic analysis of retail and consumer markets. Our Chairman, Bridget Rosewell, was Head of the Economic Trends Department and Deputy Director of Economic Affairs at the Confederation of British Industry from 1984 – 86, and was Chief Economic Adviser to the British Retail Consortium from 1998 to 2003.

 

Our recent work in retail and consumer includes analysis of new product penetration development of social network analysis techniques to inform marketing and communications strategy and the provision of market trading simulation models to assess the impact of changes in consumer behaviour on the evolution of demand.

 

Our retail and consumer work also includes a recent study for a major British supermarket on the spread of attitudes to obesity and recycling, and evaluation of the impact of choice proliferation for a consortium of financial services providers.
