How do you analyse the economic case for building a new bridge? It is obvious that it is hard to revive and rebuild a location with poor accessibility. But quantifying this effect has proved to be very difficult.

 

Volterra have developed new methodology which links accessibility with potential levels of employment and population. The regeneration case for TGB is currently being revised by TfL and the LDA, with a view to going back to Public Inquiry in 2008.
